Empowering vulnerable communities through education, health, and sustainable development — carrying forward the legacy of a devoted leader and mother.
Since our establishment in 2022, Hajjat Mutagubya Foundation has been committed to creating opportunities, strengthening communities, and building a brighter future through education, health, economic empowerment, and sustainable development.

Hajjat Mutagubya
Founder & Inspiration
Daughter of Hajjat Mwajabu Bint Lau & Hajji Abubakari Kabuye
The Hajjat Mutagubya Foundation Ltd was established in honour of the late Hajjat Mutagubya — a devoted mother, respected community councillor, and passionate women's rights activist who dedicated her life to the service of others.
Daughter of the late Hajjat Mwajabu Bint Lau and the late Hajji Abubakari Kabuye, she was raised with a deep sense of faith, service, and community responsibility. Her life became a testament to those values — uplifting families, championing women's rights, and strengthening the communities she served.
Her leadership and unwavering commitment to social justice continue to guide every programme, every initiative, and every act of service carried out by this Foundation in her name.
"Through education, health, economic empowerment, and sustainable development, we carry forward her vision of creating stronger, more resilient communities."
